مارلون براندو در فيلم دربارانداز نقش يک بوکسور شکست خورده رو بازي ميکنه که مشغول کار در يک باراندازه. يکي از درخشان ترين صحنه ها، گلایه تري (براندو) و برادرش چارليه :

حالا میریم سراغ رابرت دنیرو، آقای بازیگر !
دنیرو در سکانس پایانی فیلم گاوخشمگین، یک مونولوگ طولانی جلوی آینه داره. جیک لماتا ( دنیرو) که یک قهرمان بوکس بوده، بعد از بازنشستگی مشغول استند آپ کمدی در کلوب های شبانه میشه. در این سکانس، لماتا داره برای یکی از اجراهاش آماده میشه و جلوی آینه تمرین میکنه. قسمتی از دیالوگ مارلون براندو رو با ذکر منبع ! بین حرفاش میگه :
